- Happiness a state of mind -

Hi guys!!!!

Happy New Year to you all, I can not believe it is January already, it has seemed like a long time coming.

This year I am very optimistic for what's in store, I feel like it is going to be an amazing year full of opportunities, success, and peace. I know most, if not all of us have made plans for the new year regarding personal development and are hoping to see this come to full effect, and this new year I am hoping to implement these changes the best I can.


2016 was the year I like to call the year of realizing things, it brought about a lot of emotions, figuring a lot about my surroundings and the people in it, it had its ups and downs but I am forever grateful for having had the chance to go through the year with no major issues.

 In 2017 however I am ready to begin a new chapter, I want to be surrounded by positive vibes, optimistic people, peace, and love, trying to stay clear from any negative vibrations that may come my way, wanting to let loose and be free my genuine self, living a healthier lifestyle and I have kicked off with something I am super excited about called "the happiness planner". 
 




I try to be an organised person in general and I find that planning ahead helps a lot with this, it keeps me on track, and this year I have started using a planner that I came across towards the end of 2016 it is called  as I mentioned earlier 'The Happiness Planner' I came across this either on youtube or Instagram and after doing a bit of research I fell in love with the idea and got one for myself to start off the year and so far its been going great.

The Happiness Planner incorporates the practices of positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, and self-development. We believe that happiness is a state of mind; it lies in the way you look at things - and this can be practiced, influenced and shaped based on these 3 principles;
  • The way we look at something affects how we feel about that thing. When we change our focus or our attitude about something, our feeling about that thing also changes.
  • Our brain subconsciously picks up things. We are subconsciously shaped and influenced by our environment - whether we realize it or not. 
  • Changing the way we look at things and the way we think is basically a habit change. We can't just adopt a new mindset, change a habit or an attitude overnight. We have to practice it over and over until our mind is trained. 
We believe that if we increase our self-awareness, cultivate positive thinking, mindfulness, gratitude, and personal growth, we will increase our happiness level and will be okay no matter what happens in life.
